Celebrating 250 years

It became head quartered in Oslo in 1814 and took the name of  Norges Brannkasse in 1912. It merged with Norske Folk in 1984 to become UNI, which merged with Storebrand in 1991.

In 2000, the Marine & Energy business of If, itself a result of a merger between Storebrand and Skandia (Vesta) became part of Gard.
