As a global marine insurer, Gard is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen through strategic partnerships, philanthropy, and charitable giving. We believe the greatest impact comes from applying our expertise and resources to areas we understand deeply and where we have a stake. Our focus is therefore on marine-related issues, while also supporting the communities in which we operate. In particular, we have focused on education and training, culture, sports and the environment. We believe in sharing knowledge and expertise to continuously raise standards and foster learning.
Twice a year, Gard makes donations to organisations or charitable causes that align with Gard's commitment to responsible citizenship. We welcome applications via the completion of an application form. If you have not applied to us before and are shortlisted, we will hold a meeting with you to introduce yourself, your organisation and your proposal.
All applications are considered by our Panel twice per year. You will then be notified of the outcome following the Panel meeting if successful.
