Vincent Yeung from Hong Kong and Chentao Xie from Singapore

 Vincent Yeung, 24, from Hong Kong is currently studying at the City University of Hong Kong. He has previously been a summer intern at Holman Fenwick Willan and participated in the intensive three week maritime law programme at Dalian Maritime University in China.

Chentao Xie, 22, from Singapore is currently completing his bachelor of science at the Nanyang University, Singapore and has participated in an exchange programme with Handelshøyskolen BI, Oslo, Norway.

Gard established the Claes Isacson Scholarship for maritime education in 2013. The annual scholarship has been set up to help young people finance an education at university level, with a view to finding work within the shipping and marine insurance sectors.  Each applicant must present a plan for the completion of his/her studies and how they intend to make use of the scholarship. 

The students will receive their scholarships at separate events in Hong Kong and Singapore respectively.
