This is the third year that the scholarship has been awarded, and we are pleased to announced that the winners are:
DIONYSIS-IOANNIS ANGHELOPOULOS from Greece who is studying for his bachelor degree in shipping manageent at the BI Norwegian Business School, and
JONATAN ECHEBARRIA FERNÁNDEZ from Spain, who is a Ph.D student in the law department at Copenhagen Business School.
This annual scholarship to help young people finance an education at university level, with a view to finding work within the shipping and marine insurance sectors, to one of our key commitments to education and training – supporting our focus on sharing knowledge and expertise.
This year we had 53 applicants from 22 different countries, all with first class academic records and even including a PHD student.
We wish our winner all the very best, and very much look forward to hearing back from them about how winning this scholarship helped their academic careers.
